It's probably a shot in the dark, but did you see the tach listed in the JC Whitney catalog for $29.99? The blurb says that it fits ALL Suzuki models.
It's chromed, has a 2 1/4 diameter black face. It's a "mechanical-drive unit" that's supposedly "easy to install...use original drive cables, clamp onto handlebars."
Sounds too good to be true...as do most things that are unattainable.
